The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The market had a rough week and the financial media was handed a plethora of scary statistics on a silver platter. When markets evoke emotions, its really important to stay away from reading or watching things that can cause you to make bad decisions. I took the liberty of collecting some articles and to my pleasant surprise, I had a tough time finding the crazy stuff. Should next week look like this week, I’m sure that won’t be a problem at all.

The Good:

Take some deep breaths, and don’t do a thing (NYT)

5 things investors shouldn’t do now (WSJ)

Five Hundo (TRB)

Normal stock drop (Yahoo)

The Bad:

Investors haven’t been this terrified since 2009 (MarketWatch)

Henry’s raining on the parade (BI)

How low can it go? (USA Today)

The Ugly:

Dow 5000? Sure, why not. (MarketWatch)
