“What are you most proud of that you’ve built at Ritholtz Wealth Management?”
I got this question when we were in Los Angeles a couple of months ago. Nobody had ever asked me that before, but without skipping a beat, I said, “The people.”
We have over 60 amazing human beings working here in all different capacities. There are advisors and traders, ops people and client service associates, accountants, T&E experts, and everything in between.
We’ve become a magnet for quality people, and that’s the thing I’m most proud of.
There is a person I’ve known in this industry for a while who is the embodiment of quality, and that’s Callie Cox, our new Chief Market Strategist.

I’ve known Callie for a number of years and have always been a huge fan of her approach to investing and her ability to communicate clearly with her audience.
She’s a natural fit for what we do, and the time was right. When she came to us, it was a no-brainer.
We’ve never had a chief market strategist because so much of our work overlaps with the traditional role. But as we’ve grown, it became apparent that while several people were doing parts of this job, nobody was doing it full-time. Callie is all in.
She’ll join our investment committee effective immediately. She’ll work with advisors and clients to help them understand our investing process and what it means for their portfolios.
Callie will also jump in as a contributor to The Compound. If you caught her on CNBC this morning, you’ll see that few people on Earth are better at talking markets than she is.
I’m so proud that some of the best people in the industry choose to call Ritholtz Wealth Management home.
